The Sanguine Fight

A short platformer-game where you play as a Blood Mage. 

All attacks consume your own health, however successful hits steal some back! Upgrade your attacks in exchange for reduced max health: enemies die quicker but so do you!

 The goal is to reach the end of the level by killing other blood mages, who all have the same attacks as you!

The game was made for Ludum Dare 44 as part of the Compo category, which means it had to be created in less than 48 hours and everything had to be created by yourself! The theme was: Your life is currency.

Update:

•  Patched to fix potential problems due to floating point numbers 
• Added fix to prevent player from repurchasing upgrades in the shop, since upgrades were only applied once anyway.
